Smooth Political - Politics Unleashed

I am just a concerned United States citizen who cares about American Politics and the future of our country.

Who Will Be Our Next President

Ok, not that all of your folks haven't been bombarded by the media with this question. I am not beat a dead horse. I'd just really like to hear from the people. On one hand we have "The Maverick" John Mccain. On the other hand we have Barack Obama a catalyst for change. How do we decide? Do we go to each candidates website and look at their website and plan and line them up with our values? Do vote based upon our fears? Do we go with someone who is portrayed as being tried and true or do we take a chance on a candidate who is obviously resilent and smart yet lacks a lengthy track record?

The First Family?
The First Family?

Well I will tell you about my journey. I started off behind Hillary. I was thinking that George Bush has left this country in such shambles that its going to take an old pro to put things back in to place where we want them. Then I watched her old politcal tactics and something inside me questioned her trust worthiness. I started feel like she felt like she deserved to be President be cause her last name was Clinton. There was also something about 2 familys in 20 years running our country that says "dyanasty" to me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I forced my self to learn more about this knew candidate Barack Obama. And although he's definitely not as politically smooth, he seems to be honest and sincere. He's been a community organizer and worked with in politcs in the state of Illinoise and is a current US Senator. I thought about the life that he and his wife could bring to the White House. Then more importantly I went to his website to see how he looked at the issues. I think its importanted to strengthen America's middle class and to maintain issues for women and Obama is the strongest candidate there.

Barack Obama will restore Hope to our Country.
Barack Obama will bring forth Change in Washington
Barack Obama will make President of the United States an honorable profession again.
