The Q4 @ "Outsiders" has begun!!!
This is quite a day to begin the new "Quarter" here in "Outsiders". Right now, I am monitoring Al Jazeera as it is reporting live from Tripoli about the death of Mummar Qaddafi. It is quite a journey to be Witness to History indeed!!!
What I find quite starking, as I continue to assess this, is how the US Media continues to be behind the reporting. In monitoring MSNBC, Chris Jansing is noting that they are asking for State Department and White house Confirmation. All they could do is to tune into Al Jazeera!!!
As I write this, the "still image" has been posted to Al Jazeera. I have decided not to publish it. However, I have noted the link for reference that has been provided by Al Jazeera. What I found striking was how it all started. This is, as Hasehm Al Baraba of Al Jazeera has noted, an Earthquake. The World now awaits the day after as to what will be done. In more ways than one, what I have tried to do throughout "outsiders"--which will continue.
As I continue on with this journey, I wanted to remember one icon that left our midst: Steve Jobs. His Stanford Commencement Address, in many ways, epitomizes what I have tried to do and what I hope to do:
