The Plight of Veterans
As I begin the "relaunch" of Smooth Political, one of the primary focus in the short term at least will be on Veterans Issues. According to the estimates I have seen, there have been over 600,000 soldiers who have served in the Afghan/Iraq theatre. There have been over 30,000 wounded, over 4,000 killed with no end in sight. The United States owes the soldiers everything and must do everything within its' power to insure that they are taken care of.
