China is here and we have to take notice!!! There is no choice and anyone who denies it does so at their own peril.President Hu made quite a splash. I was impressed. As I released the write-up and assessed his visit, I am increasingly convinced that we have to figure out how to outsmart China by realizing what they are doing, how they are doing it and what we need to do differently.
One of the guys I'd be getting to know is the current VIce President of China. There was a very interesting profile of him in the New York Times recently. As I got to read up on him, my eyes nearly popped out when I read that he had enrolled his daughter at Harvard under a false name. This shows that the Chinese seem to think quite highly of the U.S.
The road to understand China through these writings will be fun and hopefully educational. It is a journey that is necessary.
