The Death of Eugene Terreblanche
Eugene Terreblanche was hacked to death at his home in South Africa. He was a 69 year farmer who was at the forefront of the White Supremacist Movement in South Africa. Supposedly, he was killed over a pay dispute with workers.
Terreblanche was a racist and a neo-nazi. However, in my view, he did not deserve to die the way he did. His death is a symbol of what is wrong with South Africa today. Crime and a continued disparity between the rich and the poor is becoming ever more. Although I continue to believe that Jacob Zuma will pull the country together, he has got a lot of work to do. The distractions of his personal life do not help matter much.
South Africa was a miracle when Nelson Mandela, F.W. De Klerk, P.W. Botha and other leaders understood that things had to change. What is tragic is what fools like the youth wing of the ANC and other hotheads seem to want to do instead working to continue to build upon the achievements of the Mandela Years. My only question at this stage remains: What Now?

QUOTE ME NO QUOTES!
He was a loathsome monster, however, it was not for the public to execute him. As for De Klerk and Botha, agreed they saw in the transition to Mandela, but, that was because Mandela wasn't going to prosecute them and the police for all the murders and tortures, which must number in the thousands.
They do not deserve any accolades to my mind.
