SP Newsflash (6/16/2010): LIbya & BP

BP's life beyond the water of the Gulf of Mexico goes on. As it continues to deal with the Deep Water Horizon Disaster, it has major operations all around the world that apparently is starting to be impacted. Libya has spoken up to seek out assurances that it will not have to deal with the same problems that is currently facing the United States. Apparently BP has a major similar project off the Libyan Coast. If anything was to happen in the Mediterrean, then we're talking a major, major disaster that will dwarf what the World is subjected to in the Gulf right now.

I commend Colonel Gadaffi for insuring this. He is not as crazy as what we might have been led to believe. There is a method to his madness, although I have profound concerns about how he's run Libya into the ground and squandered the billions he earned over the years. But that's for another time and another day.
