SP Newsflash (4/5/2010): The Attack in Peshawar
For those who think the Pakistani Taliban will just wither way, they were mistaken. I have been seeing the horrific scenes coming out of Peshawar. The Taliban targeted the US Counsulate and some 7 people have been killed.
I have seen reports that the Pakistani Army has made inroads against the Taliban. What this fails to address is the underlying problem of militancy. Where there is no hope, people will turn radical. Simply bombing people into submission will not solve our problems. Anyone who believes it does is simply fooling themself.
