SP Newsflash (1/6/2010): The Attack on the Acting Governor of Khost
Al Jazeera is right now reporting that the Acting Governor of Khost has been injured in an attack. What I find shocking is that the device was placed in the Governor's Office and was detonated remotely. It shows the sophisticated way in which the Taliban are operating and how deep they are able to penetrate both NATO forces and the highest eschelon of the Afghan Government. If this is not a cause for concern, I don't know what is. I would love to hear the useless Karzai explain this one away. Who will be ultimately held resposnible for those who are paying the ultimate price in life and limb?
