SP Newsflash (12/2/09): President Arroyo For Congress?
President Arroyo of the Philippines wants to run for the Congress next May when her terms ends. I commend her for this decision. For those who may not remember, there is actually precedence. President John Quincy Adams went back to the House of Representatives in the United States to serve with distinction and actually ended up dying at his seat in the House. I have been seeing some more sinister motives by President Arroyo. I tend to think that she wants to continue to serve. Despite all the challenges I have seen with her rule and the apparent fradulent re-election bid by her, she wants to stay in the game. I plan on not questioning her motives at this time. The verdict should be out.
