What a way to start the new year!!!
Between the carange in Afghanstian and the continued fight in Pakistan, one of the things I continue to wonder about is what is in store for 2010. As I read the accounts of the suicide bombing in Afghanistan, it does appear that it was somehow an inside job. The fact that this suicide bomber got as close as it did should raise alarm bells. The Taliban will not go quietly. They just also caused another 88 deaths in Pakistan during a Volleyball match of all things. When will the carnage stop and when will common sense prevail over insanity?
