A Challenge to Republicans: Vote For Alan Keyes

Republicans For Alan Keyes
Republicans Please Vote For Alan Keyes

This post is for all of you Republicans who proclaim you have nothing against Senator Barack Obama because he’s black, you would vote for Alan Keyes in a heart beat. Well if you’ve received your sample ballot, you will see that Alan Keyes is on there, so go ahead, vote fore him. For those of you who don’t know, Alan Keyes, is a conservative American political activist, author and former diplomat, and perennial candidate for public office. He ran for President of the United States in 1996, 2000, and 2008, and was a Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in 1988, 1992, and 2004. Keyes served in the U.S. Foreign Service, was appointed Ambassador to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations under President Ronald Reagan, and served as Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs from 1985 to 1987. The list goes on but this post if really not for those of you who don’t know who he is, it’s for those who know. I am calling all of you out who said you have nothing against Senator Obama because he’s black. You would vote for Colin Powell or Alan Keyes. Well here is your opportunity. He is on the ballot. I would like for you to put your vote where your mouth is. I am asking all of you Republicans who told me that you would vote for Alan Keyes to actually vote for him. Why? Because I simply don’t believe you. You know good and well when Alan Keyes was running for the Presidency you didn’t vote for him and you’re not going to vote for him now. That was just your lame excuse to not vote for the black candidate because you didn’t want to believe that you were actually a racist. If you need some help figuring out if you’re a racist or not, here are some helpful hints.

1. If you are surprised that Barack Obama “speaks so well” you’re probably a racist. He went to two Ivy League schools and taught constitutional law, how did you expect him to speak?

2. If you think that Michelle Obama Has an attitude, you’re probably a racist. This is a completely unwarranted discription on of her. She has not said or done anything for anyone to say this.

3. If you think that Barack Obama is not African American because his father was not a slave….ok I will throw you a bone here, this is ignorance. But just for your information, the first Africans in American were not slaves, and the first slaves in America weren’t African. The fact that Obama can actually pin point where in Africa he’s from makes him authentically an African American.

4. If you think black people are voting for Obama because he’s black you’re probably a racist. And uninformed. 93% of African Americans who voted, voted for John Kerry, 95% voted for Al Gore. Barack Obama’s camp however has mobilized voters who have not voted in the past, black and white

Back to the subject at hand. Republicans. I am calling you out. Since your black friend Alan Keyes is on the ballot, please vote for him. This is your opportunity to put your vote where your mouth is!

Keyes is too conservative for me..but you make a good point here that, according to television, we only have 2 candidates for president.

Americans, get off of your butts and do some research on your alternatives! You DO NOT have to vote for one of those two. There are other candidates on the ballot.

Waste your vote? Not this time. If enough of us take action and let the president and congress know that we aren't buying the B.S. anymore, we can make a big difference.

Thanks for your comment D. Armenta. There are choices on the ballot but I was just calling the buff of the Republicans who said they would vote for him when the know they won't.

I think Keys would have made a good VP choice. And if I thought he had a chance I would vote for him since McCain really is a liberal pretending to be something he isn't. But my vote against Obama isn't race related as the Libs want people to think. I don't like communists of any color, thus I will vote for McCain.

You obviously haven't read Obama's platform. I think its ridiculous to not vote for the person you think is the best candidate because you don't think they have a chance. I don't think McCain has a chance. The polls show it and the polls don't show the new voters that Obama has inspired to register to vote, only those who have voted in the last two elections. So get used to saying President Barack Obama

If the polls meant anything we wouldn't have elections.
