Exercise not helping Obama's image says WSJ
The Wall Street Journal’s Amy Chozick warns Barack Obama shows us another elitist trait: being too thin. Apparently since 66% of the voting public is overweight and 32% is obese, the perception is the Senator’s skinniness will be a liability. Have you heard anything so ridiculous? Each day I read bull like this I am insulted. What she is trying to suggest is that the American people will vote for someone who looks like them and she has already been proven wrong in that arena. I reject the notion that somehow Americans will be in the voting both with a calculator trying to figure out Barack Obama’s Body Mass Index(BMI) and comparing it with McCain’s. Is the journalist reaching or what? I mean with our country involved in two wars, unemployment on the rise, people losing their homes, I am sure the voting public’s man concern is Barack Obama’s body fat percentage. I also believe that there would be a no win situation for Barack Obama regarding this issue. If he was overweight he would probably appear to be too lazy. If he was too muscular, he would appear too threatening. Amy Chozick, some people are just naturally skinny and I am sure globetrotting and being away from your family doesn’t help the situation.
