Old Man McCain is at it again. Before I sat down to write this post I took a long hard look at my bank account to see how close I was to being five million dollars rich. John McCain said in his recent interview with Rick Warren he wanted everyone to be rich. This coming from a man who has married into a beer fortune. How hard does the average person have to work to accrue five million dollars? How hard does the average person have to work to pay their one mortgage? Don’t get me wrong. If you have earned your money and have decided to purchase several homes congratulations. I am not angry with John McCain or Cindy for being born into money. I am just tickled at how he tries to act as if he can relate to most of the American populations. Not only is he older than most Americans are but he’s wealthier than the top 2%. People can call Barack Obama an elitist but this guy just paid off his student loans a few years ago.
Since John McCain has so many homes that he can’t remember, I can’t see how he is in a position to empathize with most of us. I am just trying to call bull for being bull. John McCain can pump gas and go grocery shopping on the campaign trail if he wants to, but in reality he hasn’t pumped gas or purchased his own groceries in decades. In fact, he probably can’t remember the name of the person who pumps his gas and purchases his groceries. John McCain is not a man of the people. He is a wealthy man who wants to go down in history as the oldest American President.
