Maybe John McCain Parties On Weekends
The Politico has reported that John McCain has campaigned only once on the weekends since sealing the deal on the Republican nomination 4 months ago. Not to mention he has the worse voting attendance record in the Senate between himself, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. So one might ask, what has Senator McCain been doing? Well he did make an appearance on Saturday night live. Is Senator McCain going to be this relaxed as President of the United States? Does he use the weekends for nap time? Can he keep up with the grueling schedule of the campaign? This ought to be a concern for the Republican Party. John McCain had ample time to exploit the feud going on between Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton; however, he decided not to or just did not have the energy to do so. You would think that he would have more people in those town hall meetings of his if he held them when most of the American public wasn’t working. Our country’s economy is going to shambles and McCain gets the weekends off. I am not seeing much “Maverick” like behavior with Senator McCain lately. I would compare him to more of a bear. He hibernates on the weekend and strikes when agitated.
