News Flash: King Kim II has designated his heir!!!!
North Korea is the Errand boy of the International Community. The people are hungry, yet it has one of the biggest armies in the world and has the capacity to build nuclear weapons. This kind of misguided policy leads me to wonder. But, the North Korean Supreme Leader has apparently designated a heir:
As North Korea goes about its merry ways and keep the world at bay, the key to solving this is China. Until China basically tells the North Korean Military to cool it, not much is going to happen. What is bothersome is the fact that the South Korean Capital is within artillery range of North Korea. If this is not managed right, who knows what might happen. It is brinksmanship that leaves no room for mistake. Will the "Crown Prince" have what it takes to navigate through this "tough time"? I wonder!!!
While North Korea continues playing the "game", it also continues to hold two US journalists. Euna Lee and Laura Ling of Current TV are in a North Korean Jail and are due to go on Trial on June 4. I caught a glimpse of their husbands on Larry King Live talking about the plight of their loved ones. Iran came to its' senses when it released Roxana Saberi. In Saberi's case, there were some smart lawyering along with a concerted international campaign. But, such reasonableness is not the order of the day in North Korea. The world should be ever more vigilant.
