Cindy McCain: Drug Addiction and Theft Cover Up
Cindy McCain had a serious drug addiction for 3 years. Cindy was the bookkeeper for Charles Keating (Remember the Keating 5), who had problems finding receipts from trips taken on his jet. During her drug, addiction Cindy had reportedly taken over 20 Vicodin and Percocet pills per day. This millionaire heiress was so “cracked out” she resorted to stealing drugs from her own AVMT. It was a non profit organization that organized trips for doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel to provide MASH like emergency medical care to disaster-struck or war-torn third-world areas such as Micronesia and Vietnam (before relations were normalized between them and the U.S.). During 1992, Tom Gosinski, the Director of Government and International affairs discovered her drug theft. Her parents staged an intervention and assisted her in getting help for her addiction.
The following year Cindy McCain called on her friends in journalism to paint herself as a lonely sad woman who had a problem. These journalists spoke of her bravery to beat her addiction but nothing of her theft.
