Australia's Plight
The effects of Global Warming and Climate Change seem to be all around us. The latest evidence is in Australia. As this map shows, 80% of the population of Australia lives on the Coast. The rising sea levels will $137 Billion Dollars worth of property to be at risk from rising sea levels and frequent storms. As the world comes to grips with the effects of the massive change, one wonders when the naysayers (including the Oil Companies) will actually try and retool to bring their companies into the 21st Century and let go of their quest to drill even deeper into the Earth to extract a substance that would be ever more detrimental to earth. There needs to be a better way.
