The trial of Aun San Suu Kyi continues. As the world awaits the result of this show trial, I could not help but laugh at the interview given by someone who is supposedly Burma's Deputy Defense Minister. He said that Daw Suu Kyi is being tried according to the laws of Burma and that no one should intervene because regional peace will be threatened. I just laughed. I continue to wonder if the regime's chief patrons, China and Thailand, will finally pull the rug from the thugs.
