Another Win by Terrorists!??!?
I have just been reading an article by Mark Levine on Al Jazeera Really Long Link whereby he argued that the terrorists won by getting the Nigerian kid past the myriad of security check points established after 9/11. What I find scary is that despite all the billions spent, the databases are not talking to each other and the dots are not be crossed. This is not a Obama Adminstration problem. It is a worldwide problem. The Republicans and Mr. Cheney can say whatever they want. It is something that the world has to address.
What is clear is that the Terrorists have to be right once. This is one of the few agreements I had with George W. Bush. Guarding against such attacks will be costly and will cause more havoc. I wonder if traveling is going to be truly worth the effort--unless we figure out a way to truly be like the Jetsons!!!
