A Sad Day in America....
Yesterday was the 15th Anniversary of the bombing in Oklahoma City. An American Terrorist committed the act because he was mad at the Government. He was mad because the Government attacked and killed a child molester and maniac by the name of David Koresh. Yet, the right wing in America sought to minimize the effects of this fact by shifting blame and making themselves look good. A member of Congress even advocated violence:
In SP's sister site, outsiders, I released a write-up on this notion of "gangster government". The right wing Echo Chamber needs to begin to truly understand that yes, words do matter. Yet, somehow, they continue to have quite a day pushing their fiction of freedom. Although MSNBC goes after these guys, there needs to be someone like Joseph Welch:
It seems to me that the cruelty of the right is ugly, irresponsible and needs to be called for what it is: a simple grab for power.
